CIOOS-Atlantic is a consortium of partner institutions which are committed to the development of a data management and dissemination approach for oceanographic data from the Atlantic Seaboard, a region spanning from Labrador to the Maine / New Brunswick border.
Meaningful engagement and ongoing communication with a broad variety of stakeholders is an integral component of CIOOS-Atlantic, and we will work to meet the needs of the local oceanographic community and ensure regional interests are represented at the national level. Emphasis is placed on the creation of a system which promotes easy data access and supports the work of partners, researchers, industry, and more.
