The database contains ecological data on capelin spawning, obtained in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 from the study sites along the North Coast of the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
The data include biological and physical parameters, such as morphometric measurements of adult individuals, egg abundance and egg concentration, presence of larvae, granulometry of monitored beaches, spawning intensity, general site description, and environmental variables.
The accessible PDF documents include the analysis reports for the 2018 to 2021 monitoring years, the technical advice for the restoration of various capelin habitat sites that the ZIP Committee has planned to restore as part of this project, as well as the restoration report of the first works on the Val-Marguerite site.
